Day 19: Moved To Rehab (round 2) (day 1)

My brother has begun his second round of physical therapy. As I mentioned in my previous blog, it’s not the rehabilitation facility he was at previously because his insurance did not want to pay for it 🙄 But hopefully he will receive the same level of care. We are not sure how long he will be in rehab but I am thanking God for complete healing. No more numbness in his left side. No more pain or numbness in his right foot. And no need to walk with a cane. I’m also thanking God that he will have speech therapy and thankful that his speech will be corrected. Although, I do wonder what is going on with his speech in the first place 🤔

Lastly if you have been following this blog series, then you know that there is still no conclusion as to what stage the cancer is in, and what course of action will need to be taking. The healthcare industry seems to operate like the Air Force; hurry up and wait. So annoying 🤦🏽‍♀️

“…..but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” ~ Isaiah 40:31
